They arrest the alleged person responsible for stabbing and stealing a motorcycle and cell phone from a young Cuban in Camagüey

The aggressor was identified thanks to investigations by the victim's own family.

The alleged perpetrator was arrested in Camagüeystab and steal a motorbike and a cell phone from a young manin the city of Camagüey last weekend, according to the local independent mediaCuba Time.

The aggressor would have been identified thanks to investigations by the victim's own family, the young Nolasco Reinel Junco, who is recovering from a stab wound he received during the robbery.

The alleged assailant, who is detained and under investigation in the First Unit of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) of Camagüey, has been identified as Yusmel Fonseca Alarcón.

“First, it was possible to determine the house where Yusmel, after the attack, went to hide the stolen goods. An acquaintance of Yusmel, to whom he had taken the stolen motorbike under the pretext that it did not have a battery, so that he could take care of it at his house, told the family about the incident and a report was immediately made to the police," explained the cited source.

The motorbike could be recovered by Nolasco, but until now nothing is known about the cell phone.

The victim, 24 years old and identified as Nolasco Reinel Junco Hernández, was assaulted around midnight on Sunday, January 21, in the Villa Mariana neighborhood, when the aforementioned attacker hit him several times and stabbed him to steal his motorbike and a cell phone. as previously detailedCuba Time.

That Sunday, Nolasco was preparing to attend a fifteenth party when, after midnight, he stopped in the middle of the street to call a friend attending the celebration so he could enter the party. At that moment he felt a very strong blow from behind. They then snatched the phone from his hands and pushed him down from the vehicle.

He then felt intense pain in his right side that made it difficult to move and saw blood running down his legs. That's when he realized he had been stabbed.

He was able to get up with difficulty and with the help of some local residents who knew him, he was taken to the Provincial Hospital, where his wound was stitched.

In the last year, complaints ofrobberies against motorists and assaults of all kinds that in many cases have claimed several fatalities or serious injuries.

In another recent violent incident, a woman was the victim ofhis electric motorcycle was stolen while he was traveling through San José de Las Lajas this Tuesday, in the province of Mayabeque, although in that case the victim was only knocked off his motorcycle and nothing was done to him.

Concern about the increase in violent robberies against motorists is general throughout the country.

In the comments section of the publication, several Internet users pointed out that the theft does not stop because then the motorists themselves buy parts stolen from others without worrying about the origin of these parts, for which they surely "assaulted, killed or mutilated someone to obtain them."
