The Oaxaca Attorney General's Office rescued 50 Cuban migrants on March 25, who were in a private house in the town of Salina Cruz, according to anewsletter issued by the entity.

The Cubans were part of a group of 85 undocumented immigrants that were found through an operation coordinated with the State Investigation Agency (AEI), in collaboration with the Secretary of the Navy, State Police and the Municipal Police.

In addition, there were 30 people from Ecuador and five more from the Dominican Republic, who were placed at the disposal of the Mexican immigration authorities.

Three people (two women and one man) were arrested for this incident., which were made available to the corresponding ministerial authority to determine their legal status.

At the end of January of this year,a total of 22 migrants of Cuban origin, seven women and 15 men, all adults, were found inside a home in the municipality of Tultepec, in the State of Mexico (Edomex), as revealed on social networks by the Attorney General's Office.

The local press revealed that an anonymous citizen complaint warned of the possible commission of criminal acts committed inside the home, located in the San Martín neighborhood.

Also, in February,The National Migration Institute of Mexico (INM) detained 150 migrants of eight nationalities, including Cubans, who were traveling on two buses in the state of Yucatán, in the south of the country.

Migration remains unstoppabledespite the continuous calls and actions that various countries in the region have taken, especially those of Mexico and the United States, main places of transit and destination, respectively, of those fleeing authoritarian governments that have plunged several countries into deep economic crises.
