Cuban reggaeton player El Uniko responds to criticism for starting a food truck business in Miami

The urban artist opened in December of last year and Chocolate, Jacob Forever, Eddy K, El Yonki, Boncó Quiñongo have been there... His 'haters' attack him by telling him that he makes a living "selling bread"

The Cuban urban artist Luis Alberto Almanza González, better known as El Uniko, He has responded on Instagram to those who criticize him for making a living "selling bread", alluding to the fact that, in addition to making music, he manages a food truck that he set up in Miami at the beginning of December of last year.

"I wake up and the first thing I see are a lot of comments from so-called little men trying to denigrate me because I'm trying to move my business forward. I have two children to support, whether with music or selling bread, as you say. Everyone who "He sees me on the street and knows that the only thing he receives from me is love and affection, but people are so empty and so materialistic that they don't believe in feelings," wrote the artist, who in just eight hours accumulated 487 comments. Most of them, encouraging him and praising his efforts.

As he explains in the same post, he is not currently doing concerts because he considers that his work "has value." "No promoter is going to put a price on me. El Uniko is worth $7,000 and I'm not going to lower it from there. Meanwhile, keep fighting with Luis Alberto, who is billing here and the least thing there is is fear of even the problems, nor to start from scratch," added the singer.

In the last thirty days, the El Uniko food truck would have raised $19,400.00, according to the accounts shown by the artist in the same Instagram post, which include a total of 763 transactions and a decrease of 24% in the last month.

Despite the criticism, El Uniko continues in its role as an entrepreneur and presents on Instagram the new Eiffel Burger, which due to its dimensions is reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, "a masterpiece for the palate." There is no shortage of ingredients: it has cutlet meat, egg, ham, bacon, sausage, mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, corn and caramelized onion. The new dish is added to what until now was the house specialty, the ham and cheese disc.

The reggaeton artist has been supported by artists such as Chocolate, The Yankees and Ani Dieppa, La Superfriky; the comedian Boncó Quiñongo, Eddy K y Jacob Forever , who have stopped by to eat at the El Uniko food truck and he has shared everyone's photos on his business's Instagram.

It is not the first time that The Uniko He uses his social networks to respond to his 'haters'. He already did it when he responded to "those who with their infinite evil and desire to do harm" called the inspectors. "I want to tell you, dear rats, that you did us a favor," said the artist, pointing out the new address of the food truck, (8100 SW 8th Miami, FL 33 144), where they remain open until 2:00 am.

Of course there is no shortage of fans who encourage him to focus on music. "You are good" or those who know that they will achieve their dreams. "You are going to continue growing because you are a fighter. Up with the Cubans!"

Uniko also has followers who stand up to those who do not welcome the idea of making music and dedicating time to gastronomy. "What a way for a human being to be a destroyer (...) At least he has his own business and promotes it and there is nothing wrong with that."

At the end of last April, the artist obtained the plaque that accredits his 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.
