A video of a modified Russian V8 truck has gone viral on social media, generating significant interest among Cuban internet users, as it is a well-known vehicle in Cuba.
This time, it is about a modified truck in Uzbekistan.
The video was shared on Instagram by the users afsonaviy zillar and oybek 717, profiles dedicated to this type of vehicle.
"There were a few left in Cuba, but what's left now is just scrap," commented a Cuban.
"We Cubans don't want to know anything about this; anything that smells of communism, you can keep that document," asserted another.
"My father used to drive one like that, and it was his pride," recalled a third person.
"It must be a Cuban who is in Russia," said another.
This Russian truck is so popular in Cuba that the Instagram user "Somos cubanos" edited the original video to say that the V8 belonged to a Cuban from Hialeah, and some people believed it.
The ZIL-130 truck is a Russian model designed for agricultural work, which was sold between 1962 and 1994. It was very popular in the former Soviet Union and later in Russia, with a total production of 3,380,000 units.
It is still used in Cuba today as a cargo and transportation truck, in addition to its original application in agriculture.
Recently, the transformation of a Lada into a luxury car in Azerbaijan went viral on social media.

The car features a Rolex Day-Date 40 Oyster Platinum watch valued at $10,000 in the front console, Audi RS seats, a Mercedes G-Class door mechanism, and a luxury front mechanism and system from a Chevrolet Malibu.
