The wife of the deported Cuban, Deivy Alemán Oropesa, Yisel Miguel Sarduy, requested help in a video shared on social media this Thursday so that her husband can return to the United States and reunite with his family.

“We pray that these videos reach someone who can take action, and that he may return as soon as possible, because the little girl is feeling it deeply. I just ask God that my girl can be with her father soon, because she needs him, and she will need him even more,” she expressed on Facebook.

"I wanted to make this little video to thank all the people who have been supporting us. It's a really difficult situation for us, one I wouldn't wish on anyone, especially not on those who are parents," emphasized this mother, who in the past, along with Alemán, lived through the distressing surgery of their daughter, who suffers from a heart condition.

Very distressed, Sarduy shared that the little girl misses her dad and that the doctors have recommended close monitoring of her health.

"The girl is feeling it very deeply, and we are afraid she might have a relapse. I have been consulting with the cardiologist; I have to keep a close watch on her... because we need to continue praying," he recounted.

The testimony adds to a series of complaints and messages that the family has shared since Alemán Oropesa, from Sancti Spíritus, decided to self-deport to Cuba after a migration process in the United States.

The Cuban father himself narrated his experience and assured that he is “living a nightmare” far from his loved ones, while his wife and daughter remain in U.S. territory.

Before their departure, the family had a heart-wrenching farewell at the airport, filled with tears and desperation.

Sarduy has publicly expressed the pain caused by this separation, which they describe as a nightmare.

The recording concludes with the girl expressing her gratitude for the support received and sending a kiss to those who have shown solidarity amid this situation, which continues to elicit reactions both within and outside the Cuban community.
