After a significant period during which the dollar had experienced successive price increases in Cuba, the U.S. currency saw a sudden drop in its value on the informal market at dawn this Wednesday.

In recent hours, the price of the dollar has fallen to 485 CUP, which is five pesos less than the 490 it reached last Friday.

The euro, for its part, remains steady at 540 CUP since October 23.

The MLC has remained at 200 CUP for several days now.
