A Cuban resident in Cape Coral, Florida, has left her TikTok followers in awe after showcasing the enormous avocado she received from Homestead.
In the video, posted by the user @lidianismillar2, the young woman cuts open the fruit and showcases its impressive size and the intense yellow color of its pulp.
"Look at the size of that avocado, look at how it is on the inside, what a beautiful color, I love them. We only ate half of the avocado," she said, laughing.
The clip has gone viral among Cubans both on and off the island, many of whom agreed in the comments that "Cuba's avocados are the best in the world."
Other users joked that "with one of those, an entire family could be fed" or "in Cuba, an avocado like that can be traded for a pound of meat."
The Cuban has shared various content about her life in Florida, but this video—focused on the tropical fruit that so reminds her of her homeland—has stirred a particular sense of nostalgia among her compatriots.
