Rubio defended Trump's foreign strategy, which is based on the limited use of military power and specific objectives that prioritize the national interests of the United States.

The United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, stated that President Donald Trump maintains a “strategic and precise” foreign policy, distancing himself from both isolationism and military interventionism.

During his conversation with host Sean Hannity from Fox News, Rubio praised the Republican leader's approach, which he described as a leader who clearly defines his country's vital interests and acts decisively to protect them.

"Trump knows exactly what he wants and acts to achieve it," Rubio stated, emphasizing that his administration does not seek to involve the United States in prolonged conflicts, but rather to implement a "selective and results-oriented" policy.

The head of U.S. diplomacy cited the recent military operation against Iranian nuclear facilities as an example, describing it as a demonstration of the intelligent use of military power.

According to his explanation, it was a targeted action lasting only 24 hours, during which B-2 bombers departed from U.S. territory, destroyed the assigned targets, and returned without deploying ground troops or extending the conflict.

"The goal was clear: to eliminate a nuclear threat before it became a real danger to the United States," Rubio emphasized. "The mission was accomplished without dragging the country into an unnecessary war."

The secretary emphasized that Trump's strategy is based on defining national interests, establishing an achievable outcome, and acting in a limited and precise manner to achieve it.

In his view, that formula has strengthened the position of the United States without the human or economic costs of past interventions.

Rubio also argued that the recent attack on Iranian facilities demonstrates the country’s deterrent capability and the current administration's determination to prevent hostile regimes from threatening global security.

"It is a demonstration of the rational use of power," he concluded. "The president acts only when necessary and always with a clear purpose: to protect the United States."

This Wednesday, Rubio warned that Venezuela has become a sanctuary for groups linked to Iran and Hezbollah, which poses a growing threat to the region, supporting Trump's policy of pressure against Maduro's regime.
