A video posted on TikTok by the user @lapitoh23_rd has gone viral in the Dominican Republic for its controversial comments about women who have undergone cosmetic surgeries.

In the clip, the man claims that many "enhanced" women only look good when they are dressed, but that everything changes when they put on a swimsuit.

"They're going to come for me for what I'm about to say, but most women who have had surgery look nice in clothes," the Dominican man begins in the video. "But when that woman puts on a swimsuit, you can't even find her belly button; it looks like it was covered in cement. Her butt looks all squared off, with lumps... and her breasts look like two burst balloons," he added with laughter.

His words have sparked a wave of comments on social media, with some users agreeing with him, arguing that many surgeries are performed without proper medical advice, while others harshly criticized him for mocking the female body.

The clip has accumulated thousands of views and reactions, becoming a trending topic among users in the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean countries.

Aesthetic surgeries, increasingly common in the Dominican Republic, have been a subject of debate in recent years due to the rise of informal clinics and the risks many women face in pursuit of the "perfect body."
