A Cuban shared on social media the most tense moment of his life: minutes before entering the courthouse in the United States, visibly nervous and fearful of being deported. “If they deport me, they'll take everything away from me,” he said with a trembling voice as he prepared for his hearing.

The video, posted on TikTok by the user @elrey.noel.los.cubanitos, shows a man dressed in a dark coat and looking formal, trying to remain calm in a hallway before entering the courthouse.

"Moments before the court. Everything went well, thanks to God and to everyone who was attentive," the Cuban wrote afterwards, confirming that the outcome was favorable.

In the moments leading up to it, his partner tries to calm him down: "Breathe, everything will be fine. Amen, in the name of God. We need to have faith, relax," she can be heard saying as he fidgets with his clothes, clearly anxious.

The scene has moved thousands of users, many of whom are compatriots who have found themselves in similar situations before immigration courts in the United States. “Only those who have gone through it know how it feels,” commented a follower.

Stories like this reflect the human drama behind the migration processes that thousands of Cubans face in search of stability and a better future.
