“They asked him for over 3,000 dollars from Cuba! A Cuban responds to a new 'aunt from the motorcycle': '3,600 with everything included'.”

First, it was the aunt on the motorcycle. Now, the new character in the Cuban saga on TikTok is named Mike Paneles. A Cuban shared an audio message he received from the island, in which a woman calmly explained that the man who “installs the panels” charges $3,600, “fully set up.”

“Mike Paneles got me,” is heard in the audio, while the creator of the video, laughing, appears to be sweeping bills off the floor, as if money were literally growing in the house. The scene became a topic of conversation among Cubans both inside and outside the island, who quickly dubbed it “the second season of the aunt with the motorcycle.”

The comments were a treasure. “3600, that's just ridiculous,” wrote one. “Mike is doing great work, he’s your best option,” added another. “Tell Mike I’m surviving December,” “And the connection will still be bad,” or “That’s not much, it’s just over three thousand,” could be seen among the replies that mixed humor, irony, and resignation.

The creator of the video, identified as @ariesant93, played along and responded while laughing: “Take advantage of the offer, it leaves you fully equipped,” “I’m sending you the message because the connection is bad,” and “The second part is now on my profile.” Soon after, he kept his word: he uploaded the "part 2" of the video, where the rest of the audio is heard and he is seen collecting bills from a tree, closing the sketch with a parody that delighted everyone.

Amid laughter, users are already referring to a "Cuban saga" on TikTok. As one of the most shared comments summarized it: "First the motorcycle, now the panels... this isn't TikTok, it's a series. And each season gets more expensive."
