Various Cuban baseball players will participate in an international showcase taking place on Thursday, January 22 at 9:30 a.m., at the field of former Major League player Alex Sánchez's academy in the Dominican Republic, where they will be evaluated by scouts from MLB organizations.
According to journalist Francys Romero on Facebook, among the confirmed Cuban talents for the event are: José Muñiz (C), José Miguel Estrada (OF), Leskiam Acosta (RHP), and Luis Fiallo (RHP).
The showcase will also bring together top-level players from the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, featuring participation from four of the best Dominican academies, which guarantees a competitive and highly visible setting for the prospects.
