An emotional reunion at Miami airport is touching the hearts of Cubans on TikTok. In the video, posted by the user @francisvargas368, known as The King of Sewing, we see the moment he hugs his mother after seven years without seeing her.

"Thank you to all those who wished me blessings. Seven years without seeing my boss, I’m at a loss for words. I am grateful to all my eggun, the saints, and to Orula for allowing me to have my mother by my side during these times,” wrote the creator himself, visibly moved.

The images show El Rey de la Costura waiting nervously until his mother appears at the arrivals gate. As soon as he sees her, emotion overwhelms him, and they embrace in a long, silent hug, while other family members look on with tears in their eyes.

The comments were filled with affection and well wishes. “Oh, I cried,” wrote one user. “There’s nothing greater than a mother,” commented another. Many highlighted the joy of seeing them together again: “What a beautiful moment, blessings to both,” “Seven years without seeing her, and now finally with her, that is indeed a Christmas gift.”

Friends, followers, and even spiritual godchildren of the designer also reacted. "Congratulations, godfather, how exciting to see you with your mom," wrote one follower. Another summed up the general sentiment: "That's the greatest thing in life, having your mother by your side."

On the eve of the Christmas holidays, the video has become a reminder of the value of family and the reunions that so many Cubans dream of experiencing. Because, as one of the most shared comments stated: "The best gift doesn’t come in a box; it comes in the form of a hug."
