The Cuban influencer Anna Sofía once again moved social media with a new video posted on TikTok, where she requested international assistance to highlight the reality faced by the Cuban people under the dictatorship.
Speaking in English, the young woman explained that her goal is to "show the world what real life is like in Cuba," and she denounced the lack of freedoms, repression, and the harsh living conditions on the Island.
"Every day it becomes more difficult to survive. The government has never listened to the people; there is no democracy. If you think differently or dare to speak out, State Security will come for you," said Anna Sofía, who also recalled that in Cuba "there are more than a thousand political prisoners, innocent people whose only crime was telling the truth."
The Cuban creator described a critical situation: “The people have no food, clean water, electricity, or medicine. The streets are filled with garbage, and people are dying from diseases that they don’t even know the names of.”
In his message, he directly blamed the dictatorship for "the poverty and suffering of the country," and rejected the double standards of those who remain silent in the face of repression.
Anna Sofía, who has gained a large following on social media for her bold tone, sharp humor, and advocacy for human rights, has become one of the most influential young voices in the Cuban diaspora.
In previous videos, he has denounced censorship, media manipulation, and the hypocrisy of Castroism, appealing to the collective conscience and the moral duty to speak out against injustice.
“This regime maintains its power through fear and lies. Cuba needs democracy, it needs a government that truly cares about its people,” the young woman stated, closing the video with an emotional appeal: “I’m not a politician, just a Cuban girl who wants to see her country free. Thank you.”
