The Cuban singer Eduardo Antonio, known as El Divo de Placetas, expressed deep sorrow over the death of the renowned musician Alfredito Rodríguez, one of the most respected figures in the Cuban artistic scene.
"I am devastated by this sad news. The loss of our great Alfredito Rodríguez, what an artist, what a wonderful human being. We were friends and always admired each other with affection and respect. Cuba and the entertainment world are in mourning. My deepest condolences to the entire family. Rest in peace," wrote El Divo on his social media.
