A Cuban resident in the United States is going viral on TikTok after posting a video in which he asks for help in locating the owner of a permanent resident card that he found discarded on the street.

In the clip shared by the user @tankemio1, the man is seen showing a small wallet and explains that inside was the immigration document.

“Family, I know the situation with the paperwork is bad… I found this residency, gentlemen,” he says as he shows the object he found.

The Cuban asserts that he is not seeking any financial gain, only to return the document to its rightful owner. “I'm not interested in money or anything like that; I just want to help. I know how the situation with paperwork is in this country,” he expressed.

In the video, the man shows the name that appears on the card —Rasiel Peña Fonticiella— and invites anyone who knows him to get in touch with him to coordinate the delivery. “If you know him, please contact me. I will leave my number in the video,” he added.

The gesture of the Cuban has been widely praised by users on social media, who highlighted his honesty and empathy toward fellow nationals facing challenges with their immigration status in the United States.
