Statement from the PALCO Group

PALCO specified that the measure affects “all scheduled performances” and apologized to the audience for the inconvenience caused.

“To our loyal audience at the Karl Marx theater, we would like to share that due to the current energy situation in the country, it has been decided to suspend all scheduled performances for the coming months,” the announcement states.

The decision comes amid prolonged blackouts and limitations in electricity generation, which have affected both the residential sector and cultural institutions and entertainment centers in the Cuban capital.
