What began as a casual meeting in a hotel in Cienfuegos turned into a love story that crossed borders. A young Cuban, known on TikTok as @wearekovach (Cubanaenletonia), shared how she met the man who would change her life: an international guest with whom she coincided for just three days, not knowing that this brief time would shape her destiny.
“Everything began in Cuba,” she recounts in the video. She was working at the hotel when she met him, and from the very first moment, she felt that something was different. They spent three intense days getting to know each other, talking nonstop, as if they had known each other their whole lives. According to her, that was when everything "got serious," and he even proposed to her from the very first day.
After those three days, he returned to Latvia. During the flight, he had no signal, and the silence filled him with doubts. “Everyone told me it was a summer love and that it wouldn't last”, he recalls. However, when he landed, his phone started to fill up with messages: that he missed her, that he loved her, that he wanted to come back. And he came back. This time he stayed a month in Cuba, during which both decided to fully commit to their relationship.
Today, six years later, they live together and have started a family in Latvia. The creator herself responded to those who doubt her story, assuring that she has her friends, family, and colleagues as witnesses to her relationship. “It is hard to believe, which is why I hardly ever tell it,” she confessed.
