A video circulated on social media by journalist Javier Díaz shows two members of the group that arrived by boat in Cuban waters on Wednesday as they handle firearms and discuss their operation.
"Exclusive video of how some members prepared to go to Cuba to carry out a military action against the communist dictatorship," Díaz wrote when publishing the images on his digital platforms.
The material shows two men, apparently inside a gun shop, as they hold rifles and discuss their use.
One of them states, "The good thing is that I know how to handle them, to clean them," and adds, showing a weapon, "I can put a silencer on this one, and it's gone, just like that."
The same individual also comments on the weapon's range: “If you can hit anyone from afar with this, imagine at 500 meters, which is the effective range.”
The other man, also holding a rifle, criticizes the wooden grip of the weapon in his hands.
"It looks like you have a slingshot lying around; what an uncomfortable thing. This is not comfortable. This is useless; it's for the kids to practice," he points out.
Additionally, he mentions that it is an old Serbian model and compares it to a Russian AK-47 rifle, although he clarifies that it is not the modern version, but an earlier one.
The video is circulating amid the investigation into the maritime incident that occurred off the coast of Cuba, in which, according to the official version, Cuban forces killed four people and injured seven others following an exchange of gunfire.
