The Cuban journalist Yoani Sánchez reported a new episode of child indoctrination in Cuba after witnessing a school activity in Havana, where preschool children were forced to chant politically charged slogans.

Through a message posted on the social network X, the leader of the independent media 14ymedio reported that during a walk, she encountered minors shouting phrases that included words like "Fidel" and "socialism," which she described as "pure and harsh indoctrination."

The shared video shows the exterior area of a school in the Cuban capital, where teachers are instructing students as they repeat slogans that also include terms like "militant," in a dynamic organized as part of a school activity.

This type of practice has been criticized for years by opponents of the Cuban educational system, who question the use of ideological content in the education of minors from an early age.

The images bring back the debate about the role of education in Cuba and the use of school spaces to disseminate political messages aligned with the regime.
