Tekashi 6ix9ine confirmed this week that his Cuban girlfriend, Aliday Alter, is pregnant, and that the baby will be their first child together.

The rapper first revealed it in a stream alongside content creators Adin Ross and N3on, with the straightforwardness that defines him: She got pregnant while I was in jail, he said candidly, to the surprise of his hosts. Regarding the baby's gender, he clarified that they still do not know: "We don't have a gender yet."

Days later, in an interview on the "Hoy Día" program on Telemundo hosted by Penélope Menchaca, the artist revealed a more reflective and emotional side regarding his upcoming fatherhood.

When Menchaca asked him what example he wanted to set for his son, Tekashi responded with a surprising honesty: "I never had a partner where I could create a family, you understand? There’s always that conflict and clash. Well, in this one, I want to create a family."

The rapper, who is 29 years old and will turn 30 in a few weeks, also spoke about his purpose in life: "I'm already 29. I want, you know. I know that I have a purpose. My purpose is to help, to help others."

Before the host, who asked him not to return to jail, Tekashi responded with a single word: "Promised".

Aliday Alter is a 29-year-old Cuban woman residing in Miami with whom Tekashi began his relationship in April 2025, shortly after his breakup with the Cuban singer Hallel Génesis.

From the very beginning, the couple has not held back on public displays of affection: in September 2025, Aliday tattooed the rapper's entire face, including the "69" on his forehead, on her neck.

Rumors of pregnancy are not new: back in August 2025, a viral photo circulated showing Tekashi hugging Aliday's belly, but neither of them confirmed it at that time.

Tekashi was released on April 2 from the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where he served three months for violating his probation. The baby on the way would be his third child: the rapper already has two acknowledged daughters from previous relationships, while Aliday has a son from a prior relationship.

In "Hoy Día," Tekashi concluded with a reflection that sums up the moment he is living: "God has blessed me in this life so much, so much, so much... from coming from poverty, with my mom picking up cans in Brooklyn, to me being the biggest American rapper in the world."
