Indirect jab at Velito? Thalía's new release shares a video for "Cuidámela" and social media erupts

Harold Iglesias, the young Cuban who would be the new excitement for Thalía, set social media ablaze by posting a video on his Instagram stories of himself riding a motorcycle with the song "Cuidámela" by Velito El Bufón playing in the background.

The video, filmed from a first-person perspective from the handlebars of a scooter, the detail that sparked everything was precisely the choice of music: "Cuidámela" was released by Velito along with Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13, with lyrics that his fans interpreted as an apology to Thalía.

The song includes lines such as "Man, take care of her for me… and give her more than I did. She likes to be loved and embraced all night long." This turned Harold's video into what many described as a perfect response: he is already taking care of her, with Velito's own music playing in the background.

"It's the story of him with the song by @velito_el_bufon, which brings closure to the child," wrote a user in the comments.

But Harold didn't stop there. In a second video posted on his profile, he appeared dressed entirely in white, wearing sunglasses and with curly hair, posing on a Caribbean-looking street, with the subtitle: "Don't stalk me because I won't be dating anyone until I get married, the end".

The statement, read as a veiled announcement about their relationship with Thalía, sparked a torrent of reactions.

"This is better than the fruti novels," wrote a user. Other messages that garnered hundreds of reactions included: "Tanke, take care of her, she doesn't like to be made to suffer," "Thalía is a single mother, and I think it's great that she's not going to take anyone up until she gets married," and "Instagram is keeping me awake, it's one closing after another."

The context makes the story even more intense: this week, Velito shared an intimate video with his new girlfriend Paula Martínez —a cabin crew member who was seen with him in Spain in March— along with the text "I love you," which sparked a new wave of criticism regarding the swiftness of the relationship.

All of this is happening while Thalía, 21 years old, raises her two children, including Thiago, born on February 9, 2026, just three days before Velito left Cuba.

The breakup became public on February 20, when Thalía announced it on Instagram with the words: "I'm freshly delivered and for the sake of my well-being" I didn't want it to turn into a controversy.

Harold Iglesias had already been identified as Thalía's new partner last Sunday, when the gossip page Un Martí To Durako spotted several details that placed him with Thalía during her birthday celebration in Varadero.

Velito, for his part, plans to release his upcoming song titled "I Miss You" on April 17, featuring lyrics about jealousy: "Seeing you with someone else kills me with jealousy," indicating that the drama is far from over.

It is worth noting that although Harold and Thalia have not confirmed their relationship, Velito recently assured that he and his ex have been “almost six months apart” and that each has moved on with new partners, also asking that “they stop the gossip.”
