The images from the ceremony, held in a formal hall with red carpets and classic decor, were shared by Flor de Cuba herself on her social media, where she has accumulated over three million followers since her arrival in the United States.
The account honors life time usa (Lifetime Honors in the USA) on Instagram described the entrepreneur as "a businesswoman and educational leader who has transformed digital content into a tool for growth and impact."
She also highlighted that she has generated over 10 million dollars in sales on TikTok Shop, placing her in the top 1% of sellers worldwide on that platform.
Originally from Holguín, Flor de Cuba arrived in the United States in mid-2024 with just $200, no documents, and no credit history. Before emigrating, she had founded the private art academy Deflores in her hometown, where she trained over 5,000 students in six years.
In the United States, her rise has been rapid. She was nominated Creator of the Year at TikTok Shop and in November 2025, she reached her monthly record of $192,000 net. Today, she also runs "El Método Flor," an online academy that trains the Latino community in digital monetization and business scalability.
Recognition in Washington comes weeks after the influencer completed the purchase of her first house in Miami, valued at over a million dollars, and after announcing her pregnancy, her third child and the first with her partner Alex.
Since it accumulated 10 million dollars in just six months of sales on TikTok Shop, Flor de Cuba has become one of the most prominent figures of Cuban entrepreneurship in exile, and the award received in the U.S. capital solidifies that recognition at an institutional level.
