A young Cuban woman identified on TikTok as @melcolumbieofficial went viral after sharing a video of Ricardo Arjona's concert in Miami, where the Guatemalan singer sought her out among the audience to sing "Señora de las cuatro décadas," a song dedicated to women around 40 years old, unaware that she was only 25.
The concert took place on April 7 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, as part of the tour Lo que el seco no dijo, and the clip was published the following day with the description: "Ricardo, how did you do this to me?".
In the video, Arjona approaches the young woman and humorously asks her age: "My love, I have a feeling we're just in our twenties." When she confirms she is twenty-five, the singer replies: "I knew it, twenty-five, but your heart, eh."
Far from cutting off the interaction, Arjona continued with the dynamic and asked who was accompanying her, assuming it was her boyfriend. The Cuban later clarified in the comments: "Dude, it was my dad, for God's sake, listen to people."
The singer then turned his attention to the woman next to the young lady, asking her age in hopes of finding his "lady in green" who was around forty years old for the song.
The clip amassed over 520,000 views and sparked a wave of reactions among Cubans and fans of the artist, with comments filled with humor and emotion.
To those who doubted that the moment was real, the creator of the video responded without hesitation: "People don't believe me that he was looking for me."
A user identified as YeleMartinez came to her defense and confirmed she was present: "Yes, I am a witness. I was by your side, the girl in the green dress."
The tradition of searching the audience for a woman around 40 years old to dedicate "Señora de las cuatro décadas" to is one of the most recognized aspects of Arjona's concerts, which dates back at least to 2003, when he first sang it to Anabella Reyes in Guatemala.
The fact that the young Cuban was exactly half the sought age was the comedic element that sparked the clip's virality, with comments like: "The chapín is a romantic, but not foolish; he knows that someone who is 25 still has a lot of energy."
The Arjona concerts in Miami during April generated several viral moments featuring Cubans: Ronkalunga took the stage on April 4 to perform "El Carnicero," and the following day, another Cuban named Maidelys was brought on stage to celebrate her 40th birthday with the same song.
Also, the Cuban dancer Midalys Perdigón Álvarez is part of the professional cast of the tour, playing Norma in the scene from "Taxi Story."
Arjona had four sold-out dates at the Kaseya Center in Miami as part of a tour that traveled through more than 30 cities in the United States starting from January 30, 2026.
