Marc Anthony couldn't contain his surprise when he saw the baby shower cake for his daughter on the way for the first time: "No way!" exclaimed the singer in front of a piece that left everyone present at his Miami residence this weekend speechless.
The video posted by the bakery Luma's Cake on Facebook captures the exact moment when Marc Anthony discovers the cake and, seconds later, finds out that it is completely edible, which amplifies his astonishment.
The cake, designed as a princess carriage with spinning wheels and finished in soft tones, was crafted by the Venezuelan pastry chef Javier Azócar, founder of Luma's Cake and based in Paris, who traveled specifically from the French capital to Miami to create the piece.
"For the baby shower of Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira, we traveled from Paris to Miami exclusively to create this sweet experience from start to finish," Azócar wrote in the post.
The singer and content creator Lele Pons, one of the guests at the event, also reacted with disbelief at the moment the cake was cut, repeatedly stating that she couldn't believe it was actually a cake.
Nadia Ferreira smiled excitedly as the guests applauded.
The baby shower took place last Sunday at the couple's residence in Miami, featuring a garden setting in pastel pink and mint green, golden Louis XVI-style chairs, crystal chandeliers, velvet curtains, a marble fountain, and an orangery pavilion with hanging pink flowers.
Among the guests were also Guaynaa, Natti Natasha, Raphy Pina, Prince Royce, and Carlos Adyan.
The decoration included a large letter "M," which many interpreted as a possible hint regarding the baby's name, although the couple has not officially confirmed anything.
Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira announced the pregnancy on January 28, 2026, coinciding with their third wedding anniversary, and in March revealed they are expecting a girl by sharing pictures of pink baby shoes.
The baby will be the couple's second child together and Marc Anthony's eighth, as he is already the father of six children from previous relationships.
Azócar summarized the essence of the task like this: "It's about creating an emotion so powerful that, for a few seconds, it leaves people speechless. Seeing their reactions... I believe the mission was accomplished."
