The Puerto Rican producer Raphy Pina surprised his three eldest children with a gift that few expected: a Porsche for each of them, delivered in an emotional video published on Instagram that quickly garnered numerous reactions.
Mía, Rafael "Monty," and Antonio "Chingui"—the three children Pina had from previous relationships before his partner Natti Natasha—received the cars with zero miles, in three different colors. The young adults, who work with their father in his businesses, didn't know what to expect when he called them: they thought he was going to scold them.
Before unveiling the surprise, the businessman recorded a several-minute monologue from his garage in which he reflected on fatherhood with uncommon honesty. "Being a father isn't about being perfect. It's about having the guts to acknowledge where you went wrong, learning from the journey, and making sure your children don't stumble over the same stones you did," he wrote in the video description.
Pina made it clear that the cars are not the focus of the gesture. "Today I’m giving you three Porsches. Yes, they look amazing. Yes, it’s a blessing to be able to do this. But the real gift isn’t the cars. The real gift is to be able to provide you with tools, opportunities, and a path that’s a little clearer than the one I had to walk," he stated.
The producer also spoke about his own mistakes and the philosophy that guides his parenting: to motivate, not just punish. "I don't want my children to be like me. I want them to be better than me," he stated, adding that if his children do not want to study, he supports them regardless because he has multiple businesses where they can grow.
The children's reaction was one of complete disbelief. Laughter, hugs, and a few tears marked the moment of the reveal. Monty spoke at the end of the video and summed up his feelings: "I see it as a glimpse of what we can achieve. A vote of confidence in us, in our future, in our abilities, in what we can accomplish, and in where we can go."
The gesture closes a curious chapter surrounding the German brand. In April 2024, while Pina was serving a federal sentence of 41 months for illegal possession of firearms, it was his children who bought him a yellow and black Porsche GT3 RS to welcome him upon his release from prison. Now the roles have reversed, and he is the one gifting them three at once.
This episode also contrasts with a decision Pina made in February 2023, when he put his daughter Mía to work as a sales clerk in a store to teach her the value of hard work, stating that he does not give them things for free "even though I can."
In June 2025, now free, his children and Natti Natasha gifted him a Can-Am off-road vehicle for Father's Day. Now, with three Porsches involved, Pina concluded the video with a phrase that sums up his vision: "The greatest success in the world is to love your family, to provide for them, to dedicate yourself to them, and to tell them in one way or another, thank you for waiting for me."
