The Cuban music scene continues to make strides in urban music! The renowned Puerto Rican producer Raphy Pina surprised fans on social media by sharing several photographs from a meeting with representatives of the Cuban genre aboard a luxurious boat. The event was filled with praise, announcements of upcoming projects, and a mysterious surprise related to “the queen.”

The founder of Pina Records posted on his Instagram account several images from the meeting with Cuban artists, where they are seen enjoying a barbecue and sharing a relaxed atmosphere, with the Miami skyline in the background.

"Yesterday I had a spectacular day. For the first time, I was given permission to go out and hang out with the guys, away from the business and the music," wrote Pina, who did not hide his enthusiasm for the talent and energy of the young artists.

"Cuban talent has always existed, but witnessing up close that desire for improvement, that effort, and the movement they are creating fills me with joy. I love their unity, their willingness, and that eagerness to move forward," the producer expressed.

However, what caught the attention of his followers the most was the preview of several projects that could bring significant news for urban music. “Good things are coming with Lunay, with @jlexispr2, and there’s also a surprise with the queen,” Pina announced, without providing more details about those plans or revealing who he was referring to as “the queen.”

Her words sparked the curiosity of internet users, especially regarding the identity of that mysterious figure and the potential collaborations that could arise from this connection.

Among the artists associated with the event, Dany Ome stands out as one of the Cuban reparto members who has gained significant international recognition. His closeness to the renowned Puerto Rican producer has also sparked expectations about the possibility of both collaborating on future musical projects, although no formal agreement has been confirmed as of yet.

Pina also took the opportunity to dedicate a few words of support to the Cuban artists who are taking their music beyond the island.

"Congratulations to all the Cubans from the community who are making strides and paving the way. To all those wonderful people who are coming together with Puerto Rico: know that you can count on us," he assured.

Raphy Pina's interest in the genre is not new. Last August, the entrepreneur announced his return to the studio with the project "La Fórmula: Past • Present • Future" and revealed that the cast would also have a place in his musical plans.

On that occasion, the producer revealed that he had discovered the genre through "Paciente," the collaboration between Ozuna and Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13, released in April 2026.

The approach comes at a time of increasing international exposure for the Cuban music scene. In September, Wisin teamed up with Dany Ome for the song "Extrañarte", while the genre also managed to secure a spot at the Billboard Latin Music Week 2026 with the panel "Reparto: Cuba's Modern-Day Soundscape."

With a background connected to major figures in urban music such as Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam, Don Omar, and Natti Natasha, Raphy Pina is one of the most recognized producers in the genre. His interest in Cuban reggaeton artists opens new expectations among fans of this music, who are now eager to learn what the upcoming projects will be and, most importantly, who is "the queen" that the businessman mentioned.
