European Football Championship

The UEFA European Football Championship is the most important national team tournament in the Old Continent. Its first edition took place in 1960, and since then, the most awarded teams have been Germany (three titles, three second places, and an equal number of bronze medals), and Spain, which has also triumphed on three occasions, with the addition of a silver medal. The remaining countries that have been crowned champions are France (twice), Russia, Italy, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Denmark, Greece, and Portugal, each with one victory per capita. The current edition is the sixteenth and is being contested by a dozen nations, with the final scheduled for July 11 at the London Stadium in London.
