The disappearance of two teenagers in the municipality of Moa, Holguín, has sparked alarm and concern on social media, after the father of one of them publicly reported that his daughter left for school and never returned home.

The case was spread through several Facebook groups, where the family member urgently requested help to locate her and warned about the potential involvement of adults in the recruitment of underage girls for illegal purposes.

Raúl Leyet, father of María de Jesús, explained that the young woman disappeared two days ago after leaving for school.

According to their posts, the teenager was later seen in the city of Holguín along with another minor known as Darlin Díaz, who also resides in Moa.

Both had gone out together and did not return home, which led their families to report to the Police in Moa and at the provincial level in Holguín.

In a post in the group Facebook "SALES FROM ALL OF PUEBLO NUEVO. HOLGUIN," Leyet detailed that her daughter is a minor, slender, with bright pink dyed hair, and suffers from diabetes, which requires medical attention.

She also indicated that she was seen in Holguín and that she was allegedly staying in the Pueblo Nuevo area, information that heightened the family's distress.

For any information regarding his whereabouts, the father provided phone contact numbers (24610969) and WhatsApp (54232171), and reiterated his appeal for citizen assistance.

The man also made a reflection directed at other parents, warning about what he described as a growing phenomenon of manipulation and corruption of minors, in which both men and women "entice" girls with promises related to money (dollars), facts he directly associates with prostitution and the exploitation of minors.

"Today, there is not only in Moa the exploitation of young girls, which captivates both men and women, speaking to them about dollars, yumas, and prostitution. This is called the corruption of minors," he expressed.

He stated that this situation not only occurs in Moa but also extends to other areas.

He expressed his desperation and demanded that anyone holding the minor immediately surrender her to the police, warning about the seriousness of being involved - in his words - in the detention and corruption of two minors.

"My daughter is missing; she is reportedly in Holguín with other girls confined for prostitution, including minors (...) We've been days without eating, and the tears won't stop. I'm pleading with whoever is hiding her in Holguín, knowing full well that they are involving two minors, to hand her over to the police..." she emphasized.

He reiterated that his only concern is for his daughter to return home safe and sound.

Leyet emphasized that his wife, who is a delegate, is carrying out the necessary procedures with the authorities, while he assured that he remains uninvolved in the institutional process.

In his messages, he expressed the deep emotional impact that the family is experiencing, noting that they have been unable to eat for days and that the anguish and tears do not stop in the face of uncertainty about the whereabouts of the teenager.

Darlin's family and friends, the other missing girl, also sought help on social media.

"The latest news we have is that she was seen in Holguín and is with two others, please help me to find her. You can call any of these numbers 56261775 and 53844644," requested the user Alvarito Montero on Facebook.

So far, no official results have been provided regarding the location of the minors, while the search continues with community support through social media.

The case has generated multiple reactions of solidarity and concern, bringing back to the forefront of the debate the vulnerability of adolescents and our collective responsibility to protect them.
