Urgent blood donations of type O- and O+ are needed for the teenager Rafael Osvaldo Martínez Ramos, just 14 years old, who remains in critical condition following the accident that occurred this Sunday in the municipality of Majagua, Ciego de Ávila.

The immediate collaboration of donors compatible with types O- and O+ is requested to respond to this call for solidarity.

Those interested should contact Orielys, who coordinates the donations, at the number +53 5 6954512.

Rafael was transferred to the Morón hospital, where he is fighting for his life after suffering from severe head trauma and multiple fractures in various parts of his body.

According to the information shared on Facebook by Guillermo Rodríguez Sánchez, the minor is currently the most seriously injured of all those affected by the tragic traffic accident that has shaken the province.

Medical authorities have reported that Rafael is experiencing constant bleeding, which has created an urgent need for transfusions.

"They have already donated with that blood, but his hemorrhages are so severe that he needs more to stay alive. The surgeons have been fighting for 20 hours to bring him out of the darkness.", detailed Rodríguez Sánchez.

Rafael's family is experiencing moments of anguish.

His father, who resides in the United States, cannot travel to Cuba to accompany him because he has not yet regularized his immigration status.

From a distance, the teenager's father has made a desperate plea to the Cuban population to help save his son's life.

On social media, the message has started to circulate widely, although those promoting it insist on not using the "sad" reaction, as it decreases the reach of the post.

The most important thing, they emphasize, is to share the message so that it reaches as many people as possible.
