A train coming from Guantánamo heading to Havana derailed this Wednesday on a stretch of track near the Bellamar Caves road, in the city of Matanzas.
According to preliminary reports shared by the official local newspaper Girón, the incident, which occurred around 2:30 PM, left at least three people injured.

A passenger and two railway workers were transferred to the Comandante Faustino Pérez Provincial Hospital with minor injuries.
