A surveillance video and an internal document from the Miami-Dade Sheriff reveal how Daylon Fleitas González, the 37-year-old Cuban reported missing in Hialeah on August 3, was murdered and found dead days later inside a recycling container in the Everglades.
The images, obtained by "Noticias 23" from Univisión, show that the crime occurred on August 3 in a truck parking lot in the city of Medley, adjacent to Hialeah, and that the victim's body was placed in a recycling container.
The video shows Alfredo Carballo González, a 32-year-old Cuban who is a fugitive, approaching Fleitas's van in the mentioned parking lot at 95th Avenue and 106th Street in the northwest.
According to the investigation, the victim had gone to collect a debt of 10,000 dollars.
The police report obtained by Univisión states that “the victim and the suspect got into the victim's truck. Shortly thereafter, the victim is seen falling from the vehicle, with the suspect dragging her along the ground.”
Carballo then placed the body in a container, put it in the back of the truck, and drove away from the scene.

At that moment, another car begins to follow him, apparently driven by the suspect's partner, also Cuban Ariely Álvarez Cabrera (27 years old), who would be traveling with her five-month-old baby, Alain Carballo.
The black Ford F-150 belonging to Fleitas was found on August 8 in the southwest area of Miami-Dade, near Southwest 210th Street and 203rd Avenue, with blood stains and a backpack containing evidence, according to information obtained by Univisión.
One day later, the agents found the container in a wooded area nearby, and inside was the body, with multiple stab wounds, according to the coroner.
The police are searching for Carballo and Álvarez Cabrera, both from San Antonio de Los Baños in Cuba, and are considered "armed and dangerous."
With them would be their five-month-old son, who is under a warning for possible danger.
The Miami-Dade Homicide Unit is seeking the community's help to locate them and ensure the safety of the minor.
