A public transport bus suffered a serious accident on the Berroa bridge in Havana, and the causes are still unknown. Accidents in the region are becoming increasingly frequent.

The windshield of a public transport bus was shattered following a dramatic accident on the Berroa bridge, on the outskirts of Havana.

The accident occurred in the early hours of this Saturday, reported in a Facebook group by the user Roberto Pantaleón.

So far, details regarding the causes that led the bus to crash into the bridge's barrier wall have not emerged.

Yesterday, a traffic accident occurred on the stretch known as La Gloriosa, on the road connecting the town of Gaspar (Baraguá municipality) with the city of Ciego de Ávila, triggering concern among drivers and local residents, where, according to reports, accidents have become increasingly common.

Last Monday, a serious traffic accident occurred on the road connecting the municipalities of Caibarién (Villa Clara) and Yaguajay (Sancti Spíritus), resulting in several injuries, including one who underwent surgery.

The incident involved a Yutong bus -identified as unit 018- belonging to the Military Construction Company of Villa Clara, which overturned, according to various reports on social media.
