A serious traffic accident shook the Malecon in Havana this Thursday, resulting in several injuries, including a girl, according to reports shared on social media.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of the United States embassy in Havana, on a section of the avenue where a high volume of traffic converges and, according to residents and witnesses, it is common to observe violations of traffic rules.
According to preliminary photos shared by user Alexander Ríos Cruz on Facebook, the collision apparently involved a taxi van, which collided with the rear of a smaller car.
