Bus driver dies in tragic accident on well-known highway in Las Tunas

A tragic accident occurred on December 10 on the road from Puerto Padre, before reaching Becerra, in the province of Las Tunas, resulting in the death of the driver of a school bus, according to reports from social media users.

The news was published by the user Yadieski Peña, in the Facebook group Bus and Truck Accidents, where he noted: "Accident today on the Puerto Padre highway. Unfortunately, the driver lost his life. Rest in peace."

In the comments on the post, several users confirmed the death of the driver, identified as Noraldo, a resident of Reparto Aguilera, though originally from Puerto Padre.

User Kider Garcés expressed condolences for the loss and offered his sympathies to the victim's relatives on behalf of the drivers of the Provincial Passenger and General Cargo Transport Company (EPTPCG) of Las Tunas: "We share in the pain of the family," he said.

So far, the authorities have not provided details about the causes of the incident or the exact circumstances in which the accident occurred.

The community of Tunas expressed their sorrow on social media for the loss of the driver, remembered by his colleagues as a hardworking and beloved person.
