It couldn't. You fought until the very last second with the dignity of the elegant and the strength of true warriors,” she wrote.
In her message, Ariana described her father as an essential figure in her life, beyond the familial role. “To me, you were more than a father: my Jiminy Cricket, my buddy, my advisor, my God,” she expressed, also recalling lines from the poet that say: “How sad and lonely the dead remain.” However, she clarified that those lines do not apply to men like him, because —as she stated— his legacy remains alive in every person he helped.
"You are not alone. You are planted in every person to whom you did good. May your soul shine as you did in life: being unforgettable without even trying. I love you, my father, as no one has ever loved..." the actress added, with words full of love and gratitude.
Hours later, Ariana Álvarez shared another message on her Instagram account, accompanied by several images with her father. In that second post, she highlighted the silent yet profound mark he left on her way of seeing the world. "Some people never truly leave us. They stay in the way we view the world, in how we treat others, in that silent standard they teach us without raising their voice," she wrote.
The actress confessed that she learned from her father the calm to face difficulties, love expressed through actions, and a kindness that doesn't need witnesses. "Despite my sadness, I must give thanks because having had you was a privilege. And because your imprint supports me, there will always be a place for you," she expressed.
