Cuban actor Héctor Noas is visiting Miami, where he has experienced heartfelt reunions with colleagues and friends from the artistic community, in an agenda focused on theater and the celebration of the Cuban scene in exile.
During his stay in the city, Noas attended the new cultural space "Teatro Miami," created by actor Mijail Mulkay, who inaugurated the venue with the play "El circo maravillas cierra sus puertas por última vez," by the renowned Cuban playwright Abilio Estévez.
After the performance, the interpreter shared images with Mulkay and actress Amarilis Núñez, accompanied by a message on their social media where they highlighted the excitement of the reunion:
"One of the highlights of this journey has undoubtedly been the opportunity to see so many friends and excellent actors with whom I share a strong friendship. Watching them enjoy themselves on stage, in this case at the new venue 'Teatro Miami', created by Mijail Mulkay. The space was inaugurated with the outstanding play by Abilio Estévez 'The Wonder Circus Closes Its Doors for the Last Time'. Directed by José Manuel Domínguez and featuring a wonderful cast. Thank you for the invitation! Long live the theater!"
The staging, directed by José Manuel Domínguez, brought together a cast that, according to Noas, delivered a “wonderful” performance in this opening that strengthens the Hispanic theater scene in South Florida.
The actor's cultural journey also included a visit to the Teatro Trail to enjoy the show Ignorancia artificial, written, directed, and starring Alexis Valdés. Both artists posed together for a photograph that Noas accompanied with words of admiration.
“Thank you, Alexis! A delightful show at the Teatro Trail. ‘Artificial Ignorance,’ written, directed, and performed by him, once again demonstrates why he fills theater halls in any country he is in. Good humor, intelligent humor, and one that is truly appreciated. Congratulations!”
Héctor Noas's visit confirms the strong bonds that many Cuban artists maintain, both inside and outside the Island, and highlights the vitality of Cuban theater in Miami, which has become one of the main venues for cultural creation and reunion.
