President Donald Trump stated that the United States has regained its economic strength and its weight on the international stage, claiming that the country "is respected again" under his leadership.

"Our economy is booming, our country is strong, and we are respected again. China respects us, Russia respects us, everyone respects us," Trump stated during a public address on Energy in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he highlighted what he considers economic and diplomatic advancements of his administration.

"We are unleashing the potential of the United States, strengthening our security, increasing our prosperity... and cementing the status of the United States as the number one energy superpower, by far, anywhere on the planet," he emphasized.

The leader stated that the foreign policy and the economic decisions made in recent months have strengthened Washington's position against powers like China and Russia, as well as other international actors: “Everyone respects the president,” he asserted.

Trump emphasized that the U.S. economy is experiencing a period of robust growth, with indicators that—he has reiterated on several occasions—reflect expansion, job creation, and strengthening of the productive sector, although the figures have been challenged by his critics.

The statements come amid a context of geopolitical tensions and an electoral scenario in which the economy and foreign policy are central topics in public debate.

Trump has turned the message of "strength and respect" into one of the cornerstones of his political discourse, framing his administration as a period of reaffirmation of American leadership in the world.
