The President of the United States, Donald Trump, asserted this Thursday that military operations against Iran are progressing faster than expected and that the defensive capabilities of the Persian country have been practically neutralized.

"Your navy has vanished. Your air force has vanished. Your leaders have vanished. We are flying wherever we want, we have no one even shooting at us. We are significantly ahead of schedule," Trump stated in remarks shared by the State Department on the social network X.

The president also stated that U.S. forces have eliminated Iranian air defense systems and continue to operate without significant resistance. “Their air defense equipment has disappeared... we are flying where we want,” he reiterated.

In his words, the Iranian command structure has been constantly hit. "Their leadership has vanished. They choose new leaders, they disappear. They choose new leaders, they disappear, and now they are looking for new leaders again," he said.

Trump added that the United States retains full capacity to strike key strategic points in the country. "We can eliminate the island at any moment... I call it the little oil island that is out there, completely unprotected, and we have eliminated everything except the pipelines," he noted, referring to energy infrastructures.

In another part of his intervention, the president defended the ongoing military offensive and stated that its effects will have a global impact. “When this incursion into Iran is complete, we will have a much safer world. Iran is a serious threat to the Middle East and to the world. Everyone agrees with me,” he asserted in another message published by the State Department.

Trump also indicated that the operation could conclude in a relatively short timeframe. “It’s not serious and it will end pretty soon,” he said, referring to the economic consequences of the conflict.

Statements were made during a meeting at the White House with the Prime Minister of Japan, who expressed her support for the efforts of the U.S. leader, as seen in images shared on social media. "I firmly believe that only you, Donald, can achieve peace around the world. For this, I am willing to reach out to many of the partners in the international community to achieve our goal together," stated the Japanese leader.

Trump's statements come after he claimed that the Iranian army was "devastated" and that the country had lost its air defense systems, which, as he explained, would leave Iran without an effective ability to protect its airspace.

In this same vein, U.S. authorities have stated that the offensive has included thousands of combat flights and attacks on military infrastructure, with a significant reduction in Iran's capacity to operate missiles, drones, and naval forces.
