The "Free Cuba Rally" held in Hialeah this Tuesday was marked by slogans such as "Cuba Next!" and chants of "Trump," reflecting the support from some members of the Cuban exile community for political change on the island.
During the event, the influencers and activists known as Los Pichy Boys, one of the most vocal critics of the Cuban regime from exile in Florida, delivered one of the most energetic moments of the night with a speech directed at the attendees.
In their remarks, they called for sending a direct message to the White House with the slogan "Cuba Next!", referring to the hope that Cuba will be the next setting for political transformation in the region.
The attendees responded by repeatedly chanting “Trump,” showcasing their support for the current President of the United States and his policy towards Cuba, in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and anticipation.
The Pichy Boys emphasized that the mobilization aims to show that Cubans both inside and outside the island share the same longing for freedom, and that the exile community supports stronger actions to achieve a definitive change in the country.
The moment reflected the political dimension of the event, in which not only was an end to the Cuban regime demanded, but support was also expressed for figures and decisions of the U.S. government in that process.
The rally brought together political leaders, activists, artists, and members of the Cuban community in South Florida, establishing itself as one of the main gatherings of the exile community in support of freedom for Cuba.
Since the "Free Cuba Rally" held in Hialeah, the activist and communicator Alexander Otaola stated that the freedom of Cuba is near.
"Freedom is very close, freedom is in the air," he stated, referring to both the situation within the island and the feelings of Cubans abroad.
