Cuban actress Danay Cruz confirmed on Monday that she is expecting a girl, sharing an emotional gender reveal celebrated on a beach alongside her fiancé Maxime on Instagram.
The announcement came through two posts on her Instagram account: a reel capturing the moment of the reveal and a gallery of photographs that are pure cuteness. In the gallery, the actress expressed her gratitude for the messages from her followers regarding the little one on the way.
"A day that will forever remain in our hearts... The most beautiful wait of our lives," wrote Danay alongside the images from the photoshoot, in which she appears wearing a long white dress with floral embroidery and her baby bump visible, while Maxime, kneeling in front of her, kisses her belly.
The gender reveal reel shows the couple sitting on a white blanket by the shore, surrounded by pink and blue balloons, a teddy bear, baby booties, and a wicker basket decorated with a sky blue bow, all framed by the golden light of the sunset.
Along with the video, Danay wrote: "The surprise we've been waiting for. We promise to love you, take care of you, and give you all our love. Thank you, God, for allowing us to create this family and for giving us the miracle of having you in our lives."
The moment was organized by two friends of the couple, to whom the actress publicly expressed her gratitude: "You made this day even more magical and special than we had imagined. Thank you for so much love and for being part of this memory that we will always carry in our hearts."
This gender reveal is another chapter in a story that Danay has shared step by step with her followers. In December 2025, Maxime proposed to her on a boat on the Seine River in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower lit up in the background.
Months later, the couple announced the pregnancy also from Paris, showing some knitted little shoes and the baby's ultrasound. "Our greatest joy and blessing is on the way," the actress wrote at that time.
Danay also shared her mother's excited reaction upon learning that she would become a grandmother. In August, she first published a humorous sketch featuring her character Lola Mento Guasimita announcing her pregnancy to her French in-laws, and later the actual video of their reaction, filled with surprise, hugs, and emotion.
