Milenita (Milena Sánchez Rodríguez), a Cuban content creator based in Miami, posted a reel on Instagram this Friday where she explores room by room the first house she bought with her partner "El Puti" in that city.

"This is my first house here in the United States, Miami. The first house of my life. We are going to keep improving it. We are going to make it prettier," declared the creator during the nearly three-minute tour.

The formal announcement of the purchase had been made a few days earlier through Instagram posts featuring photos of the closing of the deal, the keys to the property, and a celebration with cake and bubbly.

In the video, Milenita showcases a home with wooden floors in the rooms, a chandelier, its own washer and dryer, several rooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen, all still in the process of being furnished.

One of the rooms will be dedicated to a professional video and live streaming studio: "Here I'm going to set up a complete video studio," he explained as he toured the space.

Regarding the washing machine and dryer, he did not hide his satisfaction: "I already have my washing machine, my dryer, so they won't criticize me anymore."

At the end of the event, El Puti delivered a message of encouragement to the Cuban community: "One day at a time, step by step, keep moving forward, this is possible."

The description of the post summarizes the couple's sentiment: "I love it. I don't ask for more, it's perfect for me and Puti."

Milenita and El Puti arrived in Miami in 2025, starting "from scratch" after leaving their families in Cuba. A medical graduate from the island, she resumed her studies in the United States to obtain a nursing license.

The contrast with her origins is a central part of her public narrative. In August 2026, she showcased the humble wooden house in Matanzas where she grew up, built by her grandfather.

The purchase is part of a noticeable trend among Cuban influencers in 2026: comedians Yoyi and Preña Palma announced the acquisition of their first house in the U.S. just one day prior, and creators like Fiu Fiu and Flor de Cuba had done the same in April, all sharing similar stories of overcoming obstacles from scratch.
