The price of two currencies falls in the informal market in Cuba

The first week of February begins with a drop in prices for two of the three reference currencies in the informal foreign exchange market in Cuba.

At 7:00 a.m. on February 2nd, the euro falls to 538 CUP, which is two pesos less than the value it reached the previous day, according to the daily report from the independent media elTOQUE.

A more pronounced drop is seen in the Freely Convertible Currency (MLC), which falls from 410 to 400, ten pesos less than this Sunday. 

In the case of the dollar, the U.S. currency today completes a week valued at 485 CUP.
