A video shared on TikTok has touched thousands of users after showing the reaction of a Cuban father receiving a refrigerator sent as a gift by his daughter.

The images capture the moment when they unload the refrigerator from a tricycle in a rural area of the Island. The man, dressed in a striped red sweater and a dark cap, watches incredulously as he repeatedly asks if the appliance is really for him.

"She couldn't believe the refrigerator was for him. A gift for my beloved father," wrote the young Cuban alongside the video, which quickly went viral on social media.

Visibly surprised, the father repeats innocently, "Hey, have you gone crazy, girl, is that really mine?" His reaction, marked by humility and disbelief, has generated hundreds of supportive and emotional comments.

The gesture takes on special significance in the Cuban context, where acquiring appliances like a refrigerator represents a tremendous economic effort for many families, due to high prices and scarcity in the domestic market.

The poignant moment not only reflects the love between father and daughter but also the harsh daily reality of thousands of households on the Island, where a basic household appliance can turn into a long-awaited dream.
