An image of the Cuban reggaeton artist Abel Díaz Rodríguez, known artistically as El Chulo, began circulating on social media following his arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the United States.

The photograph was shared on Instagram by the profile Un Martí To Durako and, as can be seen, it appears to be a screenshot from a video call. In the image, the artist is smiling alongside another man, presumably inside a correctional facility.

El Chulo appears relaxed, with a smiling expression, and some users have commented that he looks even more robust than in his recent public appearances. The post generated numerous reactions among fans and critics of the singer.

The artist, arrested on January 22, remains in ICE custody awaiting a definitive decision regarding his immigration status in the United States.

Previous reports have mentioned that authorities link him to the Latin Kings gang; however, El Chulo has publicly denied any connection to that criminal organization.

The case has generated wide debate within the Cuban community both on the island and abroad, especially among his supporters in Miami, where he was building his music career.

The dissemination of this new image adds another element to the controversy while the outcome of her immigration process remains pending.
