A young Cuban Christian shared a message on Facebook in which he describes the nation he dreams of for the future of Cuba, in a text that reflects on freedom, justice, values, and civic responsibility.

The post, shared on that social network, expresses the longing for a country where thinking differently is not punished and where individuals can express themselves without fear.

"I dream of a nation of the people and truly for the people, with all and for the good of all," wrote the young man as he began his reflection.

In his message, he also envisions a Cuba where the law protects citizens and justice does not depend on power or money. “I dream of a nation where thinking differently is not a crime, where voices do not tremble when speaking, and where there is no censorship to silence the truth,” he stated.

The text also mentions aspirations related to the daily lives of Cubans, such as the possibility of living with dignity from work, having access to an education that teaches free thinking, and having hospitals equipped with sufficient resources to care for patients.

The young man also expressed his desire to see leaders who understand leadership as a service to the people and a society where no one is ignored or abandoned.

"I dream of leaders who understand that to lead is to serve, who love the people more than they love power," he noted.

In another part of the message, he reflects on emigration and the future of the new generations, stating that he aspires to a nation where young people want to stay and build their country.

"I dream of a nation where young people do not dream of leaving, but of staying and building," she wrote.

The author concluded his message with a call for individual responsibility, emphasizing that changes in a country begin with the actions of its own citizens.

"Nations do not change when everyone expects. They change when someone decides to live differently," he expressed.

Finally, he stated that he believes a new Cuba is possible, but for this to happen, Cubans must adopt personal changes and commit to values, work, and responsibility.
