The police officers interviewed a company manager, who stated that he had had a conversation with Santana Caner about the disappearance of around 20 packages, reported the channel Local 10 News.

According to the arrest report, the Amazon delivery driver told the manager that he had thrown away the packages and then said that he had sold some that contained a total of eight AirPods.

Additionally, the arrested individual was captured by surveillance cameras while taking food from the company's cafeteria without paying for it.

The police reported that Santana Caner submitted a written statement to Amazon with a list of the items he took, and also signed a restitution form for these items, valued at $2,239.72.

Until Tuesday afternoon, Santana Caner was listed as detained in the records of the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, with a bail set at $10,000 in connection with this case.

However, Local 10 News revealed, citing prison reports, that Santana Caner was also remaining in jail for allegedly violating his probation in connection with a felony: having staged an accident and filed a false report to the police.
