A truck transporting two containers overturned at the entrance to the National Highway in the province of Havana, in an accident that was reported on social media and elicited reactions from users who witnessed the event.

The first images were shared by Yurielkis González in the group Facebook "ACCIDENTS BUSES & TRUCKS for more experience and fewer victims!", showing the overturned truck at the edge of the road, with the containers tilted.

According to several comments posted on the post itself, the accident occurred in the morning on the bridge at 100th Street and the Pinar del Río highway.

A user specified that the truck was on the road from Pinar del Río to Havana and, when merging onto Highway 100, it overturned in the curve.

Another witness, Marlon Ferrari Casas, recounted that the truck driver was a young man who appeared visibly shaken after the accident and was especially worried because the cargo belonged to a small to medium-sized enterprise.

Ferrari Casas criticized that many people limited themselves to taking pictures of the overturned vehicle instead of offering help to the driver.

The comments also suggested possible causes of the accident, but most point to excessive speed.

One internet user noted that the truck "took the curve nicely," while another pointed out that the vehicle might have exited the highway too quickly, and the inertia caused it to overturn on the curve.

Another user suggested that the steering could have jammed or that the truck was traveling at too high a speed for that stretch.

No official reports have been provided regarding the incident, the driver's health status, or any material damages.
