A traffic accident at kilometer 270 of the highway resulted in one fatality in Cuba.

The report was published on February 10 by the user Pedro Domínguez, in the group Facebook ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES for more experience and fewer victims.

The information details that the incident involved a private truck and a CUBATAXI car, identified by its yellow color.

In the message accompanying the video shared on social media, Domínguez indicated that the taxi driver allegedly fell asleep at the wheel, which would have caused the collision with the truck.

"Unfortunately, he passed away," wrote the user, without providing further details about the victim's identity.

However, there are comments on the post with a completely opposite version, where it is the truck driver who occupied the taxi driver's lane.

A user requested cordiality in the debate and respect for the victim's family. "Please, to all those who, on either side, defend their truth, I kindly ask you to respect the pain of others. Think of the relatives and friends of the deceased, who at only 30 years old, did not have the time to say goodbye to his two little children, his wife, and his parents who were waiting for him in other lands."

The images show the truck off the road, with visible damage from the crash. So far, no official reports have been released confirming the exact causes of the accident.

Accidents on Cuban roads continue to raise concerns due to the high number of fatalities.

The regime claims that human error is the main cause of these incidents, but drivers point out the poor condition of the roads, lack of visibility during certain times and in some areas, issues with signage, and the terrible technical condition of many vehicles.
