The sentence is now official: 10 years in prison and five years of probation for Chocolate MC, after accepting an agreement that ended three criminal cases in Miami. Among the charges are the instigation of the murder of Damian Valdez Galloso, as well as a case of kidnapping and another for robbery. A decision that shook the Cuban urban music scene and generated an immediate wave of reactions.

One of the most anticipated was that of La Diosa. The singer, who was close to the artist and present during part of the judicial process, posted a video shortly after the sentence was announced.

“The decisions you make today can shape the rest of your life. No one is above the consequences”, he stated, thus sending a clear message, particularly aimed at the young people who follow these kinds of stories.

He was also emphatic in stating that "talent without discipline is wasted," making it clear that success does not shield anyone from the law or from their own actions.

In the same video, he added some direct words for "his brother," Chocolate: "I hope that when you go out, you see a man with more control, more discipline, and a different mindset." He concluded with a phrase that quickly began to be shared on social media: "The real change isn't just going out; it's going out differently."

In the midst of a verdict that marks a turning point in the reggaeton artist's career, La Diosa chose a resolute and straightforward message: to accept consequences, learn, and change.
